Research is an important component of our core mission and values. Vanderbilt investigators have recently used this institutional resource to pioneer and perfect new surgical approaches and design innovative medical devices. Set up an appointment with Lab Manager, Jason Ridley to explore the unique needs for your proposed project. Typically investigators begin with pilot and feasibility studies. As projects mature and seek external funding sources, we are prepared to assist with budget projections, provide grant-ready descriptions of equipment and facilities, and an official letter of support from the Director.
We request that investigators acknowledge the use of Surgical and Anatomical Simulation (SAS) and the assistance provided by the appropriate staff when your work is accepted and publicly presented in posters, oral presentations, and/or manuscripts. It is also appropriate to recognize that the advancements and discoveries were made possible by the generous gifts of those who donated to the Anatomical Donation Program at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
